Bad Sunday #25 - Minor patch week
We have changed our patching schedule slightly, which now means that major patches will only be released every second week from now on. So for today's game, here is a list of the smaller fixes we've made, and a bigger patch will be released next week.
Added sound effects
Some more sounds have been included, and will continue to be included, in elements such as the shotguns and shield breaks.
UI changes
The UI structures have been changed and re-positioned, and we will continue to assess the UI on a regular basis and possibly include more changes in the future.
Drone stat variances
Drone stats have been modified and improved.
Bug fixes.
Several bugs from last week's tournament have hopefully been resolved, and we will be closely monitoring today's tournament to ensure they have been fixed and dealt with.

We have extended BADSunday to run will 17:00 today due to the lost time patching.
Controller system
The controller system has been reworked, allowing you to conveniently use gamepad controllers. Since this is a work in progress, we'd appreciate any feedback on the controller system performance in today's tournament, which you can give us via the forums on our site.
NVIDIA drivers + Windows 10 problems
Some of our Windows 10 players have reported having some crashes, and after some investigation, we discovered that out-of-date NVIDIA PhysX drivers contributed to some of the crashes. If you are experiencing problems, try updating your drivers, and if the problems persist, please notify us via the forums on our site.
More sounds
Continuing from last week, we have added more sounds, and will keep adding to and changing the audio as we continue with audit.

A new drone added this week also sound effects finally getting some attention. As always small balancing changes and additional work on particles.

It seems an eternity since we last reached out to you, asking you to assist in testing Battle Arena Drones.

Our goals
Each Sunday we are asking for feedback while we test specific parts of the game.
New Server
We have rebuilt the server component completely from scratch, this was required as we wanted some technology for the game we could not find (to be revealed later). This server technology has still to be tested under load so we can identify where it requires improvements.
New Level
We looking for specific feedback on the new level. It's still a work in progress (as is pretty much everything). We keen to know if you getting stuck, finding navigation hard (well harder then expected for a 6 degrees of freedom game).
Gameplay
Every week we will be looking for feedback on game play, latency, performance and issues. Our preferred method of feedback is to use the forums linked below. (You can log in with your Battle Arena Drones username.)
